Prayer in school Print E-mail
Recently Hope High School in Florida was told that they could not pray at graduation.  At the graduation ceremony, many students joined hands and recited the Lord's prayer.  You can read about it at http://www.pnj.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20090531/NEWS01/905310319&s=d&page.  The point is that the ACLU and the court system cannot take prayer out of school.  They can take scheduled and all inclusive prayer from school but that cannot keep Christians from praying.  As long as there are Christians in school, there will be prayer in school.  It woud be similar to a court rulling that you could not have hope in school or peace in school.  If Christ lives in you the Bible tells you to pray continually.  You don't have to stand on the lunchroom table or get on the intercom, but you can pray and be a witness at your school.
