Melody McWhorter
|
Melody is the daughter to Big Vern and Carla Sisk. She loves to read, wants to do community theatre one day, take up the piano and french horn again, play softball in a couples league with her husband, and go on mission trips to third world or spanish speaking countries. She is a teacher, artist and photographer and a graduate of the University of Georgia. Melody is married to Joel, who she new in highschool when he was a skater. They have two sons, Caleb and Andrew. |
| Leslie Maddox
|
Leslie is part of a local crime fighting duo. She is our county prosecutor and her husband Stephen is a sniper on the SWAT Team. They have five children - Jessica; Charlie; Becca; Caroline and Destiny. She graduated from Forsyth Central, North Georgia College and John Marshall Law School. Leslie has been actively involved in missions and ministry at FBC for the last five years. She loves going on missin with her family. |

Ron Smith

Ron is married to Elaine and they have two daughters. He is the youth Bible Fellowship Group Director and also teaches 9th grade boys. He was involved in high school football & wrestling. Ron graduated from Oglethorpe University, the "Petrels". He's taught at FBC since 1981 . Ron's an Energy Services Representative with Georgia Power Company. His previous assignment was to feed the cheese to the mouse that ran in the wheel to generate electricity. |

Jason and his beautiful wife, Debra have been married for 16 years. They have 3 daughters: Alexis, Madisynne & Gabrielle and 1 son, Joshua. He is the Principle Technical Relationship Manager for Citrix Systems, Inc. Once he was accepted into the Rigling Brother's Clown College, after he had already entered into the US Navy. |

Karolyn is married to Jerry. They have one son, Zack who will be graduating from FCHS. She is the Accounting Manager at Alcatel-Lucent and she loves to travel and scrapbook. |

Beth is school teacher and is married to Van. Their kids are Anna & Matt Shelton; Philip & Anna Sanders; and David. They spent ten years as missionaries living in Kenya. |

Jim Henninger  |
Jim works as a Disability Claims Field Representative for MetLife. He graduated from Indiana University and then got his MBA at Butler University. He and his wife, Linda, have 2 children and 2 dogs. Jim played high school football and baseball and college baseball. He has worked with teenagers since 1985. Jim claims to be a former contract killer for the Meatball family in Chicago as well as an alien abductee in 1997 resulting in thinning hair, weight gain and halitosis. The boys love his sense of humor. |

Catherine is married to Scott, the Youth Minister. They have 2 girls, Hannah and Maggie. She is a former cheerleader at North Carolina State and now works as a CPA |

Alena Franks
|
Alena Franks is a Sophomore at GAinesville State College with hopes of graduating from Valdosta State University with a Mastor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is an After School Care teacher at Brookwood Elementary. She was a part of FBC's high school ministry while in high school, as well as singing in the HS praise band and going on several of the mission trips over the last five years. She enjoys hiking, camping, fishing and singing.

Vicki is married to her college sweetheart, Richard. They met at UGA in 1986, and have two daughters, Allie and Sophie. She's a Greek girl from New York, married to a southern boy from Al-biny, Georgia. Together they enjoy spending time with family and cheering for their daughters on the soccer fields. Vicki is very excited about working with the youth at FBC and growing closer to Christ along with them!

Matt is married to "Hottie" Missy Payne and they have three children, Hayden, Canaan and Shelton. Matt serves as a Deacon and is currently the Athletic Director for the City of Cumming Recreation and Parks Department. He enjoys all sorts of outdoor activities and eating cheesecake! |

Brett Duncan

Brett is married to Trina and they have 3 children: Shelby; Grant and Scarlett. They will be adopting their fourth child from Ethiopia soon. Brett owns and operates Duncan Exterminating, Inc. - "Bugs fear the frog". An interesting fact about Brett is that he has distributed thousands of scriptures with the Gideons in several different countries. |

Patrick is married to Catherine and they have a daughter, Caroline. Patrick's band, called One Tree Hill, shares the Truth through his music and testimony. Patrick is also an attorney at law who mediates civil lawsuits at Miles Mediation. |

Laurie Brescia

Laurie and John have been married for 12 years and have two boys, Zachary and Tyler. She is a natural born Saleswoman having spent most of her life working in retail in places like The GAP, Macy's Estee Lauder and Bath and Body Works. She broke up her retail career with an 8 year stint working for Heavenly Ham as an Information Technology Specialist. Most recently, she has owned her own eBay Auction Drop-Off business and for the last three years as an Independent Tupperware Consultant. Laurie loves to ride motorcylces and has her own bike and is a member of the F.A.I.T.H. Riders Ministry at FBC. |
